Q. I bought a bottle of Pump but it doesn't have the promotion on the front of the pack, is it still part of the promotion?
A. Only promotionally marked 750mL bottles of Pump are part of the promotion.

A. There is one major prize of $50,000 and 5 x weekly prizes of $500. The promotion is 18 weeks long so there will be 90 x $500 winners and 1x $50,000 winner.
Q. When will the prizes be drawn?
A. The weekly prizes will be drawn on the Monday following each weekly period (Monday to Sunday) and the major prize will be drawn at the end of the promotion period on Wednesday 2 April, 2014.

Pump "Pump up your pay" Promotion 2013-2014

1. These Terms and Conditions of Entry relate to the “Pump up Your Pay” promotion brought to you by Pump (the Promotion).


2. Purchase any specially marked bottle of 750ml Pump and scratch the scratch panel found on the bottle label to reveal your unique code. This Promotion opens at 12:00:00am on 25 November 2013 and closes at 11:59:59pm on 30 March 2014 (Promotion Period).

3. To participate in and/or claim a prize in this Promotion you must be a New Zealand resident aged 14 years or over.

4. You can only enter each unique code once.

5. To enter simply:

TEXT: Send the unique code as a text message to ‘811’ to enter. Enter using any text capable New Zealand mobile phone. Texts to ‘811’ will incur a standard message cost (20c on Vodafone and Telecom, 9c on 2Degrees, 8c on Skinny Mobile) to the entrant. Texts will not be included as part of any text plan packages - check with your telecommunications provider. Please ensure you have permission of the person who pays the mobile phone account before entering via text. All text costs are at the expense of the entrant.

6. EACH CODE = 1 ENTRY IN THE MAJOR PRIZE DRAW: Entry of a unique code by text or web is automatic entry into the weekly prize draw on the day that code was received by the Promoter as well as entry into the Major Prize draw at the end of the Promotion.


7. MAJOR PRIZE: There is one major prize of $50,000 to be won (the Major Prize). If the winner is under 18, their parent or guardian will be awarded the Major Prize, and the parent or guardian may be required to sign acceptance of these Terms and Conditions prior to claiming the Major Prize.

8. WEEKLY PRIZES: There are 5 x weekly prizes of NZ$500 to be won each week day during the Promotion Period (each a Weekly Prize).

9. The Major Prize and the Weekly Prizes are together referred to as the Prizes in these Terms and Conditions.

10. Prizes will be awarded to the registered user/holder of the mobile number and/or the email address used for entry into this competition.


11. Entry in to this Promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

12. The Promoter is no responsible, and will not be liable, for any lost, incorrect, or misdirected text or web entries, or any text or website entries not received by the Promoter, or for unreadable unique codes.

13. You must ensure that your entries are received by the Promoter during the Promotion Period.

14. The Promoter’s employees, all employees or contractors of associated companies and agencies of the Promoter and their immediate families are not eligible to participate in the Promotion.


15. The Major Prize will be drawn at 3:00pm on Wednesday 2 April 2014.

16. Prior to receiving the Major Prize and being declared a winner, the winner will be required to show proof of identity, e.g. passport or drivers license.


17. Each Weekly Prize will be drawn randomly each Monday throughout the Promotion Period, with the first Weekly Prize draw taking place on Monday 2 December 2013 and the last Weekly Prize draw taking place on Monday 31 March 2014.

18. The Promoter will use all reasonable endeavours to electronically transfer the Weekly Prize amount into the New Zealand bank account nominated by the winner on the next suitable business day after receipt of details of the nominated bank account from the winner.


19. The Prize draws under this Promotion will be randomly drawn and independently supervised.

20. All Prize winners must nominate a New Zealand bank account into which the Prize will be paid. If the winner does not have a bank account, they are able to nominate another person’s New Zealand bank account into which the Prize can be deposited. No Prizes will be paid to winners other than via a New Zealand bank account. Each entrant confirms that they have the consent of the account holder to pass such of the account holder’s personal information, as is necessary, on to the Promoter. The Promoter accepts no liability for any dispute between the nominated account holder and the Prize winner in relation to funds deposited into a nominated bank account.

21. Once a Prize winner has been contacted, the Promoter will ask for details of a New Zealand bank account to enable transfer of the Prize. Bank transfer times will depend on the Prize winner’s bank.

22. It is your responsibility to disclose to the Inland Revenue Department the receipt of a Prize and to pay any taxes that may become due. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from winning a Prize.


23. The Promoter may refuse to award a prize to you if, in the Promoter’s sole opinion, you have breached these terms and conditions or has gained an unfair advantage in participating in the Promotion.

24. Entry into the Promotion is deemed authority from you to Vodafone, Telecom and 2Degrees to release your phone number(s) to the Promoter (or its agent). By entering a unique code you consent to the Promoter contacting you at the contact details provided regarding any Prizes won.

25. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

26.
